Hi, I’m Joep Wetzels
Trainer, consultant, interim manager and also a training actor, language nerd, home cook, music lover and endlessly fascinated by what makes people tick.
In my work, I help leaders and teams collaborate better, especially when language, culture or personality seem to get in the way. I believe curiosity, genuine attention and a willingness to truly listen are key to stronger collaboration and deeper connection.
Many of my clients are technically skilled professionals working in international environments. They’re strong in their field, but when they have to lead or collaborate across teams or borders, building connection can be a challenge, especially when cultural differences come into play. That’s where I come in.
I’m not the kind of trainer who pretends to have all the answers. What I do bring are thoughtful questions that invite reflection. I create a safe setting that encourages people to speak up. And I work with creative, out-of-the-box methods that stick. I use business games and regularly take on the role of training actor to practise challenging conversations.
In multiple languages, I help teams understand each other better and support leaders in leading with greater calm, confidence, and impact.
My own curiosity never stops. That’s what keeps me going and what I love to spark in others.
